Working closely with designers and engineers, the project integrated indoor and outdoor spaces to enhance community engagement and tenant experiences. Highlights include the park-like plaza with amenities like an Airstream café, shade structures, and artificial turf, which hosts events like a weekly farmers’ market. Obstacles included waterproofing concerns and logistical issues, such as craning in the Airstream due to finishing constraints. Custom materials such as porcelain-clad planters by Tournesol, custom awnings, and a unique 40ft chandelier in the lobby underscored the project’s commitment to aesthetics and functionality, creating a dynamic hub for social interaction and community connection.
