The design of Conill Advertising’s new office space in El Segundo, California, inspired by the question of what it feels like to be in the eye of a creative hurricane, merges vibrant energy with functional collaboration. The central reception area acts as the nucleus, with pathways leading to executive areas or main workstations, surrounded by dynamic circulation created by faceted walls and undulating fins. The space features distinct areas like “the club” with a bar and ping pong table, “the park” with monkey bars and lounge seating, and “the beach,” an outdoor terrace with synthetic grass. The space utilizes folding geometries, bright colors, and acoustical solutions to foster creativity and collaboration in a fun, innovative environment.
