The former Amoeba Music headquarters on Sunset Blvd was transformed into the Impact Museum’s Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit, which presented significant obstacles due to outdated infrastructure and extensive code upgrades. The project involved completely renovating the space while accommodating the tenant’s occupancy needs during construction, which added complexity. Notable features of the Impact Museum project include the awe-inspiring immersive experience that vividly brings Vincent van Gogh’s art to life through theatrical storytelling and world-class animation. The exhibit’s main corridor is designed like picture frames in homage to Picasso’s style, and the seamless integration of music and projected images enhances the immersive atmosphere. Unique aspects of the project include the use of state-of-the-art technologies and custom materials tailored to create an engaging and memorable visitor experience.
