The Eli & Edythe Broad Foundation’s new high-rise office space in Downtown LA was designed to reflect the organization’s cultural ethos. Situated near The Broad Museum on Bunker Hill, the space integrates curated spatial experiences that embody the foundation’s values. Highlights include expansive ceilings, custom wood windows, and doors, enhancing the space with a sense of openness and warmth. Custom materials, such as the abundance of wood elements and carefully selected art pieces, underscore the foundation’s commitment to quality and aesthetic integrity, contrasting with contemporary glass and aluminum trends. This project harmoniously blends educational, communal, and private spaces, creating a dynamic environment that also serves as a showcase for their notable art collection.
